I hope this link works.

He says he switched to 12/12 15 days ago and the plant hasn't shown sex yet, no pistils. I asked him to post a picture, so it should be there later today. I don't really keep track of how many days after I switch the lights I see buds forming, but I thought about a couple of weeks. To be honest, I don't really have a clue.  lol   :o

Hi Friends
You can't say exactly it will be a male if a plant show sex later. The most males show sex earlier but it's only my own experience. In my breeding projects the males show sex first but it depends on the strain. I talked to other breeders and it's very different.
I know that some sativa dominant strains need a 11/13 light schedule. I would test that if a plant doesn't flower at 12/12.

Oh, this is so true!
 This also hapanned with me, on my diary i related that here on bagulhinho.com

 It was a sativa colombian gold given by a friend, a regular seed. It was a very fragrant plant even on vegeting, growing faster than the others
 But she never show off her sex :/
 More than one month later and everybody was blooming 🌺 and she only on veg 🌱😡

Witchy asked me to have pantience ❤️ hahaaha and then she started to show off some little tiny mini balls that was growing very slowly 😂😂😂 I KNEW IT! It was a male 👨🏻 😿

Is the plant stretching? That's normally the first thing that happens with the light response.

If it is stretching, then wait and it will show sex. If not, then start cutting hours as others have suggested.

It's just so weird because he planted some outside and some inside, the ones outside are blooming, but the ones inside aren't. He said he switched to 12/12 almost a month ago, like around 3 weeks now. Have you ever heard of that? I told him to swap and bring one from outside inside and take one of the ones inside outside. I'm curious to see if the one that goes inside will revert to veg. Is it possible that it's something with the lights? It really doesn't make sense...

What lights? If they are low in the red spectrum it may delay flowering.

Are there any light leaks during the dark period?

Oh, I didn't know about the delay for lack of red spectrum, that would make sense! I did ask about how dark it is during the lights off periods and he told me it's completely dark in the room. Thanks so much for your help here!  :)

@Green happy
